ETERNAL NIGHT: Undead Leather & Gear

The wasteland got a costume change. A year after the end of the world, the survivors are still crawling, still geared up, and looking better dead than they ever did alive. This Halloween, Eagle Portland goes undead: leather, rubber, chains, and grime. Compete for $500 in the costume contest, lose yourself in a night of music and visuals from VJ Deluxxe, and meet a special guest who carves pumpkins like nobody else. Saturday, October 31, 9 PM to 2 AM. Costumes required. Gear survives. Everything else is negotiable.

COSTUME CONTEST · $500 GRAND PRIZE
Gritty Halloween artwork for Dead On Your Feet, the $500 costume contest at Eagle Portland’s Eternal Night. A muscular figure fills the right side of the frame, head bowed and face hidden in shadow. SPECIAL GUEST
Halloween artwork for the special guest pumpkin carver at Eagle Portland’s Eternal Night. A row of carved pumpkins glows acid green in a dark industrial space. The large center pumpkin is carved with an eagle with its wings spread inside a spiky starburst, with green light dripping from the cuts like ooze. MUSIC & VISUALS ALL NIGHT
Title art for VJ Deluxxe, who handles the music and visuals all night at Eagle Portland’s Eternal Night Halloween party. The words “VJ DELUXXE” fill the center in heavy, slightly arched block letters. The letters are pale yellow-green, distressed with black grime and a mesh texture, and glow against the dark. The soundtrack and the screens. VJ Deluxxe runs the music and the visuals all night, so the room moves with the sound from the first track to last call.

MIDNIGHT

THE RISING

At midnight the lights go out and the dead get up. VJ Deluxxe takes the room under, and the contestants parade before the judges call it. Be on the floor.

GLOW BODY PAINT
