Eagle Portland is a gay, bear and leather bar at 835 N Lombard St in North Portland, open every day from 2pm to 2am. Since 1983 it has been a home for Portland's leather, Levi and bear community.
Eagle Portland is unapologetically owned by a gay man and operated mostly by gay men — and we're learning, in real time, how to be more than that. How to be a genuine safe space for all of LGBTQIA+ people. How to show up for and advocate alongside queer communities beyond our own. How unity, not division, is what actually protects us.
We don't want to be part of what tears our community apart. We want to build something different: a space that's safe, sexy, fun, and open to everyone who walks through the door.
